         A sudden news came up to me, my niece is calling, crying that my dog is not breathing anymore. Chicco suddenly passed away.         It had been several weeks that I am missing Chicco. We are currently under Enhanced Community Quarantine in the province  due to COVID -19 and we could not go back to the city because of the lockdown. It is almost two months that we are not able to see our dogs. Maybe Chicco missed us so much that it may be the cause of death. Some also says that it might be heatstroke because of the hot weather and the sudden rain. It could be because of its current age because its mother is on the same age when it died.              Chicco is now seven years old and had been my best buddy ever. A dog I missed whenever I am away on travel. I always remember it whenever I see K-9 units in hotels or airports. I remember it whenever I am eating foods with big bones....

     Six months ago, I quit my office job as a government employee. It was a very big decision that even my mother scolded me of what I did. I have come into that decision because of some realizations in my life. I am in my early thirties, married, childless, a fur mommy to three awesome dogs, travels everyday for almost four hours in going to and from office, works on weekends and seldom have time with my husband. I have these thoughts in mind when I was thinking of quitting my job. One day a turning point came that made me realized that I want to quit my office job and spend more time with my family, dogs, do the things I love and do not stressed out my body. I would only live once and why not enjoy the rest of it.      Online homebased job is not new to me since I still have my part time US client who allowed me to work for him even if I have my office job before.       Succulent plants has been gaining popularity now. It is now used as gifts, giveaways and collections for hobbyists. I am new to growing succulent plants and one thing that caught my attention while browsing on the Internet about it are the colorful and unique pots of which succulent collectors had been using. So lately I was looking for these pots. I had been searching on the malls nearby for these pots and find no luck on finding them. Well, guess where I find it? On a Japanese surplus store. These were tea cups and tea pots. I bought these for P150 pesos per kilo. This is all two kilos of which I just spent P300 for these pots. This is way cheaper compared to a regular pot. The only thing with it is that it doesn't have holes on the bottom, so when using it as a pot make sure to regularly check your plants so that it will not be  submerged in water.                    This is a succulent plant or also known as " water storage plant ". It has thickened and fleshy parts that usually retain water. I was fascinated by it because of its popularity, uniqueness and beauty. It is also easy to take care because it does not need more attention and watering. I just leave it on a sunny spot and that's it. Lucky for me, I could buy these plants for P50-100 pesos only which is relatively cheap. I just transfer it to beautiful pots and keep it dry.                             Lake Holon, awarded as the cleanest lake in the Philippines and was surrounded by 15 mountains. It could be found in the Municipality of T'boli, South Cotabato and could be reached via walking trek of two to four hours from the center of the municipality.                   I admit it, I am not prepared for this. My one month of supposed to be preparation was not enough. With my current body size, I don't think I could make it. Well, I made it. I was able to reach Lake Holon in one piece together with my friends. The Kule trail in going to the lake was challenging but the view of the lake was so amazing. The horseback riding in going back to our destination from Lake Holon through Salacafe trail is also a memorable one.         Hello there! I am now back. After almost two years of being so silent in the blogging world, I am now really back. Well, office works, online job and personal stuff kept me busy this past few years but I am happy to share with you that finally I already finished my Master's degree in Business Administration. Anyways, back to my blog. What to expect now that I am back? Of course, top of the list is my travels. Check out Reina's Travels for all travel related posts. Another thing I want to write is about food with all the recipe and restaurants. Next is flowers and other plants. I am now into succulents so expect that I will write about it.
