     I am not a risk taker and I always wanted to be on my comfort zones. I would like to decide on things wherein I have clearer view on what lies ahead rather than putting myself on a vague future. Even when I am still in college, I am so afraid to fail that even in writing college paper I still have to research on books about it or look on some websites like college-paper.org  for some tips. I am so afraid to take some risks that I take some advises from other people when I am making decisions. That is why I admire my co-worker who had been a risk taker.  At a young age she worked alone in the USA. She already visited several countries all by herself. Now, she is resigning from a high paying job to work in Manila as a sales agent hoping for greater opportunities. Well there is this concept on investments that states, the higher the risk , the higher the income. I wish my co-worker all the luck she needs. Go girl!

       Due to heavy rain on the past few days, the city mayor declared that schools have now the authority to declare no classes. Some parts of the city had been flooded and it is only reasonable for schools to declare no classes if the rain is heavily pouring out. My alma matter declared no classes few days ago due to heavy rains. Only today that the sun shine brightly and on the afternoon it started again to rain. In times like this, students are greatly affected by it for when it is raining they would really get wet on their way to school or some will be stranded on the flood.  Unfortunate for other students, they still conduct classes on their flooded schools. It is only right for schools to declare no classes.         I was so disappointed the other day because of the expired offer. It was worth $11 which is ten times or four  times higher than any other pay per post offers. I accepted the offer early in the morning and was still contemplating on what to write on it that I did not started it right away. When I accepted it, there was a part on that page that states that it will expire after two days. When I started to right anything about it in the afternoon it was already expired. Maybe I misunderstood the two days allocation for it wherein it started from the day it was given as an offer not from the time it was accepted.      I am officially not enrolled for the second semester in my MBA class. Our request to open first semester subjects was not granted by the registrar. This means that I have a lot of free Saturdays wherein I could leisurely stroll wherever I wanted to go. I would still have to follow up my grades in my academic writing subject where writing research papers had been the final output. I am anxiously waiting for the result of it because I am not confident with the output I submitted.      Since I have no class every Saturday, I do not have to worry any academic reports, assignments and other requirements.      It has been months now since I was given the task to send email notifications to our foreign clients. It is a good opportunity for me to harness my communications skills through writing.  It was not that hard enough for there are already pro forma written notifications for it like custom essays that need minimal revisions. There are also times that there are no pro forma statements to it that I have to careful choose my words in expressing my thoughts, questions or notifications. The email notifications should be concise, understandable and should not in any way offend the client.        When I engaged in blogging, it has given me more writing experiences for a not so good writer like me. There was a point in my life where I admitted to myself that I was not born to be a writer. Even if I already started writing for a high school newspaper, I could still not admit to myself that I am a writer. I find difficulty in writing essays or news report for that high school newspaper. I was just doing it back then to earn points for extra-curricular activities and maintain my academic standing.      I was a bit worried about my academic writing subject. The second semester already started yet I still do not have a grade in this subject. I was not enrolled this semester because I already finished the subjects offered for this semester. We write up a request for opening of some subjects but it was not granted. The graduate school is strict in following the  subject offered per curriculum. Since I was not enrolled I am hoping that I would not neglect to follow up my grades in academic writing.            Academic writing is my first subject this semester in my MBA class. I am very hopeful that at the end of my class I will learn a lot from it. I really wanted to enhance my writing skills and apply it in my job and in my blogging endeavors. True to my expectations, academic writing is not that easy. It is a formal type of writing and a lot of writing style should be followed in each part. I finally had my first draft in the research paper assigned and the experience was unforgettable. I made first my outline. After having my outline, my next problem had been what should the things I should write down to reach three to five pages. Filling up the references part is also quite tough.. APA style is the method that was required to be followed. So far, I was able to pass my first draft but I think there are a lot of things that must be changed, rephrase, include or edited on it. Good luck on my second draft!
