        Hello there! I am now back. After almost two years of being so silent in the blogging world, I am now really back. Well, office works, online job and personal stuff kept me busy this past few years but I am happy to share with you that finally I already finished my Master's degree in Business Administration. Anyways, back to my blog. What to expect now that I am back? Of course, top of the list is my travels. Check out Reina's Travels for all travel related posts. Another thing I want to write is about food with all the recipe and restaurants. Next is flowers and other plants. I am now into succulents so expect that I will write about it. The last but not the least topic is too personal for me which is about my dogs. The big dog in the picture above is my baby Chicco. So stay put in my blog and I will keep you posted. :)

      Few months ago I was shocked by the result of my medical examination which stated that I was overweight. I was still able to get a clearance by then but the overweight note was still written in it. It was disappointing and depressing at the same time.      Months before that, I was able to maintain  my weight and even if I resigned from my previous job to take some rest, I was still able to maintain it. It was only then when I  had another job and stayed on a boarding house that I gained some weight. I do not cook at that time and I usually eat at fast food restaurants wherein soda drinks is always part of my meal.    I lack physical exercise because I only have to ride a tricycle and it would bring me directly to my workplace, restaurants or malls nearby.        It is my first time to experience it. Lucky for me, I was looking at my food before taking in a spoonful of it which I seldom do because I either watch TV or the monitor of  my desktop at the office. I was looking at the bowl of my food when I saw a shiny object. I immediately look unto it and was shock to see that it is a thumbtacks pin.  I was frightened with the idea that I almost eat it and what will happen if it goes directly to my stomach. I can't believe it. It has been an awakening to me to be very careful in choosing my food provider. Not all food provider value the safety of the food they are serving. Hope this would be the last time that something like this will happen to me.

      Lobster, shrimps, crabs, and seaweeds are some of the seafood I like to eat. My husband also can’t resist the different delicacies of shrimps, lobster and crabs. Lucky for us, we are not allergic to seafood that we could eat as many as we want. That is why if there are seafood that we like in the menu of any restaurant we came across to, we do not hesitate to order some. Only now that I knew, that a famous seafood restaurant, Red Lobster, gives away red lobster coupons and red lobster printable coupons that could save some money at the next visit without minimizing the savory taste of their seafood.      Red Lobster is a famous chain of seafood restaurant that offers delicious seafood meals.  I was originally founded in Lakeland, Florida in the year 1968 and as of to date there are now 680 restaurants in US and Canada. With the number of years of its existence, it is already a manifestation of how the people loved it and the dishes they served....

         My husband and I are coffee lovers. His friends and relatives are also coffee lovers. Since we are devoted Christians, alcoholic drinks are not allowed. So when his friends and relatives would go to our house, we have a coffee session instead of drinking session and would talk about anything under the sun. Most of the time, his brothers or friends would visit us at our house. The more visitors we have, the more coffee we drink. There was a time that we had been able to drink four cups of coffee in a day. That is why sometimes our body is really looking for  coffee. My husband and I also tried the different flavors of coffee offered at the different coffee shops. When Starbucks opened a branch in Davao City at Abreeza Mall, we never hesitated to order a cup of their coffee. Though it is a bit expensive compared to others, it is worth it.

        Of all alcoholic drinks, wine is the most popular. It is also the drink that could be present in any occasions. It may be during birthdays, parties, events, and special occasions. A wedding would not be complete without the drinking of wines which symbolizes that the bride and groom are taking into themselves the qualities of each others families. Even in a Catholic mass, drinking of wine by priests is part of the ceremony. It is really no question why wines have great popularity and value but what really is wine.      Wine is a fermented fruit juice made usually from grapes. It comes in long-neck bottles and stored for years. The longer the age of wine, the tastier it is. That is why there are people who collect wines and reserves it for special occasions. Swimming pools Scenic View   Sizzling Ostrich Steak                  Many of my friends say that Seagull is a nice place to visit. It is situated in Brgy. Lorega Kitaotao, Bukidnoon along Davao-Bukidnon (Buda) Road.Out of curiosity, my husband and I visited it. It was a two-hour ride from our place in Mintal. Along the way, we track down stiff roads with a lot of curves but the scenic view we experienced was truly amazing. Upon arriving we head out at their information office.We first decided to accommodate a cabin and stay for a night but because of the several minutes we waited for us to been entertained, we decided to try their day tour. We paid P150 per head with a free use of open huts, swimming pool and waterfalls pools. Since it was already lunchtime when we arrived, we tried their food specialty - sizzling ostrich steak. Dinner at Kuya Ed Back of  David Jack's Ridge                 My mother's birthday will be on March 4. Since she went home to the province last Saturday, my husband and I treat her out last Friday. First, we had dinner at Kuya Eds at Magallanes St. It was an eat-all-you-can dinner at an affordable price that satisfied our hunger. Then, we went to Queensland at Matina Aplaya. It was my mother's first time to be there. She noticed the controversial David statue and the sharks which were grown there. After taking some pictures at Queensland, we proceeded to Jack's Ridge at Shrine hills Matina. My mother wants to go there to know if there had been changes at Jack's Ridge after several years had passed. Same as before, the colorful lights of the city is still beautiful to look at in Jack's Ridge. We didn't loom that long at Jack's Ridge because of the rain. I hope my mother had a wonderful advanced birth...

Since I am alone in the house today, I decided to eat in a fast food chain. I am so graving for a Hawaiian Twister that I decided to pass by at the KFC. Hawaiian Twister is a wrap up fried chicken, ham, pineapple, various fruits and other spices. It is a mixture of taste and what I like about this food is that it is like a viand and dessert wrap into one. It is so yummy that you would want to ask for more but watch out with the diet.
